To ensure the continuance of our hula lineage, my focus has always been to develop teachers, giving them the knowledge and foundation necessary to become kumu of their own hālau.
Kumu (source/teacher), culminated on October 7, 2006. `Ūniki Papa Lehua was the graduation of seven Kumu Kumu Hula Kamea`e Maata; Kumu Hula Leo`okalani Nakila; Kumu Hula Māhiehie Arana and Kumu Hula Kalama Pastor.
