give you thanks for brining us together through the ‘gift of hula’ that has allowed us to continue to grow in
your likeness and in the spirit of Aloha.

I give thanks and honor to my parents Orlando and Pat Valentin, who gave me the foundation and love
that has shaped me into the person I am today.  Mahalo to my husband and best friend, James Reese,
whose love is my strength and inspiration.  Without his support, I could not have accomplish the various
Tasks and Projects throughout the years. Mahalo to my sisters and family who have stood by me and
“rallied to the cause” at the drop of a hat, and Mahalo to all of my teachers, guardians, kahu and friends.

I would like to acknowledge all the administrators; teachers; assistants; volunteers and families that have
served the hālau throughout the years. It is with your contributions; commitment; love and support that
we have flourished as a hālau.
